Atria and our Japanese partner Nippon Steel Trading organized a customer event in Tokyo last week. We were happy to host the event together with the Embassy of Finland.
Over 60 guests were enjoying the Finnish atmosphere and pork delicacies in the event. Our customers Aleph Inc. and Marudai Food Co., Ltd gave heart-warming speeches about Finnish, antibiotic-free grown pork. Taste is always number one in the Japanese market but local consumers value more and more also the safety and sustainability of the food. Finnish pork has found its place in the shopping carts of these frontline shoppers.
“We sincerely admire Atria for taking on the challenge of being antibiotic-free, -- and providing us with a wonderful pork that is animal, human and environmentally friendly.” Mr. Dai Shoji, President and Representative Director of Aleph Corporation.

“We are confident that the more exposure Atria’s pork receives in Japan, the more safe, secure, delicious and smiling it will bring to our customer’s tables.” Mr. Yuji Sato, President and Representative Director of Marudai Foods Co., Ltd.

Our collaboration with Nippon Steel Trading started at Foodex Japan in 2018, and we are happy to celebrate the achievements we have built together so far. We also want to thank Embassy of Finland and Food from Finland for their support in providing a prosperous platform for Atria and NST to encounter and co-operate.
